December Mardler

All Saints Church News

Life continues apace at All Saints. At the end of last month we hosted the Benefice service and we were so pleased to welcome many friends from around the area.

September also saw us having our 5 yearly inspection. All churches are required to be inspected by an architect so ensure that they remain in good order. We were delighted to find no new issues and are now looking to undertake the work on the windows and the floor of the front three or four pews. These were mentioned in the last report so we have now to get on with the required repairs! On the fabric front big thanks to go to Kelly Halifax who redid the down pipe on the north side of the church and then a big thank you to Chris and Fred MacDonald who have repainted the entrance gates which now look lovely. Thanks you very much indeed for without help like this we would struggle to keep the church in god (and good) order.

December will see us celebrating Christmas with our Carol Service on Sunday 11th December at 4.00 o’clock. As always it will be a service of great Christmas cheer and will of course conclude with seasonal fare. So why not join us and get your Christmas off to a flying start!

 Early notice

We will be having a Quiz which will probably happen early in February, watch this space!
