Much to look forward to at All Saints.
We will be running a Messy Church in Thorpe Abbotts Village Hall on Saturday 5th October where the children will be making decorative items for our flower festival the following weekend.
The weekend 12/13 October will see the Church filled to overflowing with flowers as the team put on a Country Flower Festival. We will also have refreshments and produce on sale as well as a very warm welcome and of course not forgetting items from our Messy Church. Probably the last flower festival of the year so not to be missed.
We will be having for the first time in a number of years a Patronal Service (All Saints) on 3rd November. This will be a service of Evensong at 6.00pm with Nigel Tuffnell.
The Remembrance Sunday Service on 10th Nov will see us hold our normal Communion Service during which we will carry out an act of remembrance at our memorials in the Church to remember not only those from the local area both also from the 100th Bomb Group.
Finally we will be holding our very popular Race Night in the Village Hall on Saturday 30th November. Building on the hugely successful event last year we will again be running a bar and providing a light supper. This is likely to be popular so we do not anticipate being able to have tickets on the door. For Tickets (price to be confirmed) please contact Simon on 668132.
